Tuan Guru Haji Hadi berjaya membentangkan secara ilmiah dan penuh adab penggunaan kalimah 'Allah' menurut sudut pandang al-Qur'an, al-Sunnah dan al-Siyasah al-Syar'iyyah
I think today is a historic day when IKIM successfully gather the three largest Malay-Muslim parties in Malaysia, the UMNO, PAS and PKR to discuss the issue of the use of word Allah by non-Muslims. UMNO represented by Religious Advisor to the Prime Minister, Dato 'Dr. Abdullah Md Zin, PAS represented by its own president, Dato 'Seri Haji Hadi Awang. And PKR was represented by Head of Religious Bureau, Dr. Muhammad Manuty.
Generally, the three parties agreed that the use of the word Allah by non-Muslims is prohibited and banned if it can be misleading and has elements of other religious propaganda against Muslims.
I also think, the point should be understood in addressing this issue is that, it is issues related to language and non-Christian theology. If it issues related to Christian theology, Christians will certainly change the name of their god to Allah in all their versions of the Bible. But the question is, why they want to translate god to Allah only in the Malay Bible? While, other Christians who do not speak Malay still call their god with God and other names.
Therefore, Muslims must understand the reality of this issue so that we do not mistakenly discuss any matters that have nothing to do with this issue until causing disagreement among Muslims themselves. Wallahu a'lam.
